Convalescent Home
Bible Baptist Church reaches out to the community through its  convalescent home ministry. Four times each year, the children of the Christian Character Club present musical programs in two different convalescent homes in the San Fernando Valley; Sun Air Convalescent Home in Panorama City and Summerville in Chatsworth. On the last Sunday of every five-Sunday month, the children take the Gospel message, encouraging music, and their cheerful smiles to the elderly and the disabled.
 The convalescent home ministry accomplishes two very important purposes. It allows the church to reach out to those whose physical limitations confine them to a convalescent home and provide them encouragement and the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.
 Additionally, the children learn from their experiences in this ministry that true joy comes from serving God and serving others. At the conclusion of each program, the children spend time greeting the elderly. When they see the smiles on the faces of the elderly and the tears in their eyes, the children realize that they have truly had an impact in the lives of others. At Bible Baptist Church, we believe that everyone can serve God, not just grown-ups!
