 Christian Character Club
The Christian Character Club at Bible Baptist Church combines sound Bible teaching with lots of exciting and fun activities for your child.
The club, which is for children ages 4 to 12, meets from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings.
The purpose of the Christian Character Club is to teach children about ChristianTheme Verse:
I Corinthians 3:10
"According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon."
Club Motto:
"Building Lives for Christ", Godly character traits through Bible lessons and Scripture memorization.
Each week focuses on a different character trait.
The children memorize the definition of that trait, learn a related Bible verse, and study in the Scriptures how a hero of the faith demonstrated that trait in serving God.
Music is also an important teaching tool in the weekly Christian Character Club meetings.
Children learn songs that reinforce
the
Biblical training that they have received. They also begin to learn some of the fundamentals of music by learning to sing in two-part harmony and to play simple musical instruments such as the handbells.
At Bible Baptist Church, it is our desire that the children recognize that their musical talents are a gift from God that should always be used to honor Him.
The arts and crafts time allows children to develop their artistic talents while creating crafts that incorporate Bible verses that they are learning.
Finally, the children participate in game time. In addition to being a time for fun, this is also a very practical opportunity for them to put into practice the Christian character traits that they have been learning as they interact with their game leaders and with each other.
 
Whether learning verses, singing choruses, or playing tag; it is our goal that the children of the Christian Character Club at Bible Baptist Church learn to honor God in ALL that they do.
